About FOXPRO Review
Independent reviews of electronic predator calls — built by hunters, for hunters.
Marcus Webb — Lead Reviewer
Predator Hunter · Electronic Call Specialist · 14 Years Field Experience
I started predator hunting in Utah in 2010 with a cheap friction call and a lot of patience. After a frustrating season of educating coyotes, I switched to electronic callers in 2012 and never looked back. I've tested FOXPRO units in Utah, Nevada, Oklahoma, and Kansas — from tight cedar breaks to flat open rangeland — and that range of terrain informs every recommendation on this site.
How We Test FOXPRO Calls
Every review on this site is based on one or more of the following data sources:
-
1. Direct Field Use
Where possible, I personally use or have used the unit being reviewed. I record stand setups, response distances, and animal reaction notes in the field. I call from elevated positions in open country and from ground level in brush — both matter.
-
2. Community Aggregation
For models I haven't personally hunted with, I aggregate verified hunter reports from r/predatorhunting, specific FOXPRO Facebook groups, and direct outreach to 3-5 experienced callers. I don't cite opinions — I look for patterns in results.
-
3. Manufacturer Specs (Verified)
All specs (remote range, sound counts, weight, battery type) are pulled from FOXPRO's official product documentation and cross-referenced with Amazon product listings. I flag any spec discrepancies I find.
-
4. Side-by-Side Comparisons
When comparing two FOXPRO models or FOXPRO vs. a competitor, I use the same terrain and timing conditions where possible. Apples-to-apples, not cherry-picked setups.

Editorial Independence
FOXPRO Review is not affiliated with FOXPRO Inc. No manufacturer has ever paid for a review, gifted a product for coverage, or had any input into our ratings. All product recommendations are based solely on field performance and value assessment.
If I think a competitor makes a better call for your use case, I'll say so. My goal is to help you make the right purchase — not to sell a specific product.
